Penn State Campus Residential Dining is excited to welcome The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI), as they join us for lunch and dinner on February 9th.  Students are encouraged to attend the special dining event that will serve one of the healthiest foods in the planet: seafood.  All five dining commons will participate in the event.

The special cuisine will be filled with exclusive dining options, starting with king crab legs.  For an upscale price, attendees can enjoy melted drawn butter on king crab legs with a side of cheddar biscuits.  Just a heads up... the crab legs are going to sell out quickly!

Besides the elegant upscale dinner, lunch and regular-priced dinner will be offered as well.  For lunch, seafood lovers can devour smoked salmon penne with cream sauce and peas or an exquisite tempura cod with spicy mayo.  Additionally, freshly prepared Alaskan cod and black bean chowder will be served.

Don’t worry seafood fanatics, the fun doesn’t end there! The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute will be joining us for dinner too.  Entree selections include the Alaskan rockfish with moroccan sweet tomato sauce as well as couscous with roasted vegetables and chickpeas.

Throughout the semester, Penn State Campus Residential Dining is devoted to providing students with the healthiest options.  Therefore, we are thrilled for this special dinner.  Alaskan seafood is naturally high in various essential vitamins needed for a healthy diet and we are delighted ASMI will be part of this memorable event.

Lunch is generally served between 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. and dinner is served between 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. However, these scheduled times vary by location.  For more information on campus dining hours and locations please visit:


The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI) is an organization that is partnered with the State of Alaska and the Alaska seafood industry. ASMI strives to increase the financial value of Alaska seafood and spread awareness of their fresh products all over the world.
