Lights, camera, ACTION! Penn State Campus Residential Dining welcomed students and staff to walk the red carpet, for a luxurious night with the A-list. This star-studded inspired event, took place February 22 at all five dining locations, and was truly a night for guests to remember.

The Oscar-themed dinner was nothing less than glamorous! From the sequence photo booths to the customized snapchat filter, guests were able to explore the exclusive life in the fast lane. While the decor struck many and was uniquely different at each dining location, guests were also given a taste of one-of-a-kind entrees that resembled those of a five star restaurant.

From garlic and rosemary beef strip loin with shiitake mushroom sauce, to crab cakes with horseradish dill sauce and thai peanut and popcorn crusted chicken, students and staff were left nothing less than satisfied. However, that was only a taste of what was found on the menu!

Guests also had the option of a citrus marinated shrimp salad, lobster corn chowder and grilled cauliflower steak with caper tomato basil relish. Accompanied with a variety of side dishes and specialty drinks, students and staff were served quality food and substantial service.

While guests in South Food District enjoyed a spinning dessert table filled with assorted macaroons and shooter cups with star garnishes, guests in Pollock enjoyed sangria mocktails and sparkling white grape juice as they posed for paparazzi on the Hollywood walk of fame.

As limos began to arrive and trays were returned to be washed, the room was filled with joy and satisfaction from both the students and staff. This exclusive night in Hollywood was one that attendees will never forget.
